Christmas!

We didn't have a Christmas tree so we made one and put it on the wall and then put our little presents underneath it. It's kinda sad and yet I think it's brilliant! haha Well it was fun anyways.
Linds and I filled these hats for each other instead of stockings, so that was fun and we bought this sparkling grape juice and drank it out of fancy glasses. This is Linds and the new girl from Venezuela, Judy, she lives with me, so she shared in our little Christmas eve and day celebration. I think it makes it a little easier for them to be away from home, well at least I hope that it helped.
For lunch we all got together and had a braai, it really was nice to be all together and just relax. The pastor's family was home so that was a bonus, they are really great to hang out with. That morning in our house we made pancakes and bacon and coffee and different members of the team came and went and had some coffee or pancakes, it was relaxing and comfortable. So all in all it was a great day. Cheers. D

Good times at Kids Club!

We did a puppet show for the kids and it was so much fun!
These are two of our translators!
We set up a slip and slide and the kids had such a blast, we laughed so hard. The translators had never seen this before so they really enjoyed it as well. Alright must go to lunch Cheers!

Pretty in Pink!

This was a birthday party for a little girl that turned 1, and her mom dresses her in Pink all the time.

So were invited to this party and we all had to wear pink, well this scarf and a pair of flip flops were the only thing that I had that were pink.

It was fun to go and be together. The parents are from the church that we attend here at the mission so we know them well. This was almost all the girls from the mission. OK gotta go, one of the ladies from our church is taking me to another town to shop!!! That should be a lot fun being with her. Cheers for now! D

Wonderful Zulu Translators!!!

We've such an incredible opportunity to meet these three guys who love the Lord with their whole hearts. There is one not in this picture because he was busy doing washing at home. The hospital put on a party for the children so we brought them there and these two guys helped us out. It is such a huge blessing to be with them, they are so amazing!

Here they are teaching a song to the kids and they are teaching them some cool moves.
This is the three guys, Siphiwe, Lucky, and Lindo. Please pray for them and their ministry and for their support (they live by faith). They love preaching and singing and doing ministry, they do it full time and have been involved with it since the two were 15 and the other one 18. God has really saved them, they are so different from other guys that we meet that say they are Christians but still mix in the other religion or don't really live a holy life. These guys are all for Jesus and don't even have children! And for here that is a big thing! This is Lucky's family and the guys say it's their mom too.
Alright must go but cheers and have a blessed day. D
